Nourish, Recover, Thrive: A Dietitian’s Introduction to Pediatric & Adolescent Eating Disorders

This session provides registered dietitians with a foundational understanding of pediatric and adolescent eating disorders, including diagnosis, treatment approaches and the dietitian’s professional role in care. Using an outpatient lens, participants will explore common medical and nutritional complications, learn how to conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and review evidence-based interventions to support growth, recovery and long-term health in children and adolescents. Practical strategies and case-based examples will help RDs confidently apply this knowledge in clinical practice.
